The LifeSize Desktop is a SIP based
video conference client software for desktop deployment. It is a cost effective HD video
communications system for point to point video conferencing application.
When it is deployed together with a
LifeSize Bridge and LifeSize Transit firewall traversal solution,
multipoint connections among the LifeSize Desktop users are possible. Please refer to the LifeSize Desktop
Mobile Workforce datasheet for more information.
It is suitable for home worker,
manager of small branch offices, mobile user to join meetings from any
where.
LifeSize Desktop can be installed on
any desktop or notebook PCs, and use together with a HD webcam (e.g.
Logitech webcam pro C910 etc.) and a PC mic & loudspeaker with echo
cancellation (e.g. Clearone Chat 50).
LifeSize Desktop supports
independently configurable transmit and receive bandwidth. It is able to send and receive 720p30
16:9 HD video and wideband audio at 1Mbps bandwidth onwards.
LifeSize desktop has built-in
NAT/Firewall Traversal client.
Together with the optional and external LifeSize Transit NAT/Firewall Traversal server, users
can conduct or join meetings from any where without any problems due to
complicated router setting and firewall rules.
