The solution consists of 2 units of LifeSize
Express 220 full HD video conferencing systems. 1 for HQ and 1 for the branch.
Besides video conferencing with the branch, the
same system can be used for video communication with any other organization
with a H.323 video conference system.
LifeSize Express 220 full HD video conferencing
system supports max. video resolution of
1920x1080pixels at 30fps video frame rate.
LifeSize Express 220 full HD video conferencing
system can be used with any LED/LCD TVs or LCD projectors. For best video quality results, 1080p30
full HD LED TVs, LCD TVs and LCD projectors are recommended. The LCD projectors shall have brightness
of 3000 ANSI lumens and above.
Either 1 or 2 displays can be used per location.
Network required for the inter-office connection
can be either IP network (leased line or broadband internet access) or ISDN
network (with the optional LifeSize Networker).
When connected, users will see their far end colleagues full screen on the display. If 1 display is used, the far end video and local video will
be displayed as either side-by-side videos or picture-in-picture
videos. If 2 displays are used, the
far end video and local video will be shown on the separate displays. As LifeSize is a full HD video
conferencing system, videos displayed are in 16:9 aspect ratio.
In addition to the real time video conferencing
session, users at HQ or branch are able to connect their PC to the LifeSize
Express220 video conferencing system to start a presentation.
When the presentation starts, the LifeSize video
conference systems will use the H.239 dual video sending and receiving
feature to allow far end users to view both video and presentation slides
simultaneously.

will be displayed separately on the 2 displays.
For secure connection, the embedded AES encryption
of the LifeSize video conferencing system can be used.
The LifeSize video conferencing systems are fully
ITU-T H.323, SIP and H.320 compliance and compatible with systems from
other manufacturers.
With the optional LifeSize Video Center,
the entire video conference meetings can be streamed live and/or recorded
just by pressing a button on the handheld remote control unit. The recorded videos can be playback using
a PC, Mac computers and iPhone/iPad/iPod whenever
required.
